Processing system Pay-n-Get is a unique product developed by Speedflow programmers’ team. Today  Pay-n-Get system has been widely used by the leading Ukrainian operators. The system was installed in our partners companies in Canada, Costa Rica, Kosovo.

The major mobile services distributor in Ukraine ’ElPos’- was the first company to use the Pay-n-Get processing system in their business. Below goes the interview with its director, Andrew Izbenko. He has been supervising the project from the early days and is working on its solutions development together with Speedflow programmers.

Could you please tell us about the main activities of your company and why you decided to purchase Pay-n-Get system for pre-paid services?

At present our company has distribution agreements with absolutely all mobile operators in Ukraine. The project of top-up codes for mobile operators’ subscribers ‘Electronic payments’ has been launched in 2005. The project purpose - to offer fast and easy method of account top-up/refilling with the help of mobile terminals. At first our service was provided only to Kiev residents. Later, with commercial and organizational experience growth, the company started to expand its network to other regions. The branches in Kherson, Odessa, Vinnitsa, Ivano-Frankovsk, Ternopol, Lvov, Rovno, Uzhgorod, Lutsk, Chernigov and Crimea autonomy republic implemented our services. In 2008 we expanded to eastern Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk. We created a retail network for pre-paid services and are developing dealer nets.

We implemented Pay-n-Get processing system in January 2007. I will reveal one secret: the developers recorded this date in the software name (note – the first version was called  Pay-n-Get 07.01)

We had studied about 10 processing systems on the market before we decided in favour of Pay-n-Get. We used to work with one of other systems. However, there weren’t a lot of vital for us options there. For instance, you couldn’t create hierarchical dealer’s network or choose individual prices for each dealer. High efficiency and flexible accounting system which could be combined with 1C accountancy were the key features to draw our attention.

At the very beginning the processing system operated only with mobile terminals. Then Speedflow offered soft-terminals - Windows based software application. This solution has turned out to be suitable for fixed sales outlets equipped with computers.

The vital advantage of Pay-n-Get system is its low cost comparing to its high efficiency. Moreover, Speedflow provides efficient technical support and is constantly updating and extending its functions.

Which additional options have appeared according to the needs of your company?

Pay-n-Get  system was tested in real time environment. Since that time a lot of features have been altered and implemented. Our company was constantly growing and it was essential to keep the system in compliance with vital business processes. That is why we were constantly requesting Speedflow team about new features development. New reports were modified and implemented. A new set of reports on mobile terminals was introduced. For instance, now you can not only get the total information about the sale sum of mobile and Win-terminals but also a detailed statistics on the required service of this appliance. Due to our request a feature of serial number search was implemented. Essential transformations in the processing management system have been made - in codes loading scheme. Web interface has become simpler and friendlier and the feature of payment status confirmation was added. It displays the information about both successful and error transactions. A convenient solution for direct refilling of unlimited sum of subscriber’s account was introduced. The idea of programmed Win-terminal was imposed by business needs.

Which Pay-n-Get characteristics are the most essential, to your mind?

The main advantage of the system is its efficiency. It is one of the few processing systems operating online on Ukrainian market. Pay-n-Get system allows you to work with numerous providers simultaneously and to create hierarchical structure of dealer’s network. We are able to provide services to a great number of clients without speed loss due to rational server’s capacity usage.

The system web interface has a high interaction level. The solutions of the server dynamic interaction makes the impression that the user works not with web-supplement but with the program, installed on his own computer.

The system is easily scheduled. Initially we installed Pay-n-Get on one server but afterwards, the system load was divided into two servers because of the demand for fast system operating.

A significant advantage of Pay-n-Get system is its integration with any accounting program and the system is easy to manage. But the most vital thing is that its developers are enthusiastic about its enhancement. We know from our experience that any idea of solution extension is possible to implement.

Speedflow is about to release a new version of Pay-n-Get system. Are you going to use the modernized version?

We are already testing the new Pay-n-Get version on the virtual server. The new version is Linux based with 

PostgreSQL. The developers claim to have added dozens of new add-ins, such as new set of reports which simplify work with dealers. A solution of hierarchical prices blocking was implemented, the procedure of goods (codes) and other files loading was simplified. The new version contains the solution for reports of various formats export (MS Excel / OpenOffice.org Calc, CSV). We really appreciate the enhanced processing time. We currently work simultaneously with both old and new versions. All the necessary settings and updates are about to be completed and our company will start using the new version in the near future.

ElPos is the major mobile services distributor in Ukraine. They have been widely using about 3000 mPOS terminals, 1200 Win-terminals which operate with Pay-n-Get processing system. Dealer network of the company covers more than 60 companies in different country regions.
