In 2009 Speedflow delegation attended one of the major information technology events GITEX, which took place in Dubai (UAE) from 18th to 22nd October.
GITEX Technology Week is considered to be one of the most significant events in the world. Next year information community is celebrating its 30-year anniversary of this prestigious and respectable forum. The event plays a significant role in information technology progress in the Middle East providing the opportunity of experts’ opinions exchange, a display of enhanced software by the world leading manufacturers. To say the least — GITEX event, which lasted 5 days, set the businesslike pace not only to the largest city of Middle East but also to the majority of the companies connected with high tech.
Due to high boost of information technology Middle East is considered to be one of the most prospective regions for cooperation development. Speedflow Communications has a large number of partners there and our aim is expand our business not only in traffic transit sphere but also in our own software supply. Therefore, as our CTO Sergey Dyatchenko said, our prime task at GITEX event was to present our new versions of software products for VoIP business and to study weak and strong features of similar products, not to mention new interconnections. Also we looked into the prospects and possibilities of participating in GITEX as an exhibitor next year.

Sergey Dyatchenko tells:’GITEX is rich in subject areas and VoIP is only one of the introduced areas. This event gave rise to new interconnections and a possibility of our software products display. VoIP sphere was not widely presented : around 10 multinational countries – UAE, Turkey, England, etc. There were not only VoIP operators but also software developers there. The main thing we got the evidence of, is that our software developments have nearly no rivals neither in functional nor in updating solutions adjusted for specific demands. Speedflow offers the most complete package solution for customers’ technical support.’
Speedflow director Vlad Ellis explained how the company manages to maintain the high relevance level of its software products.’Our company was set up as transit VoIP operator. Today traffic transit is not the only one of our activities. About 3 years ago we created a software development department. So far, we have released several next-generation products: fully functional softswitch for VoIP, billing system, card platform for pre-paid services, financial accounting and analysis system for VoIP business. We also implemented processing system for pre-paid services Pay-n-Get which has been successfully used by the leading operators of electronic payments in Ukraine.
We have become software developers absolutely on account of our needs. We have faced the reality of insufficient software products: limited security features, absence of essential functional and the problems of software products convergence by different manufacturers. At that time we came up with the idea to develop the software solution which would not have any mentioned drawbacks. Generally speaking, we offer not only the software package for automation, but also a multipurpose technology for VoIP companies which has been tested and enhanced by many years of experience.’
Speedflow delegates carried out more than 20 presentations on software products. Apart from this, we have met local telecom operators: new projects of mutual business growth have been discussed, new long-term agreements have been concluded.
