Uno Communications, American long distance VoIP carrier and phone services provider, have been using the MediaCore SBC for almost one year. Nicola Belliardi, Market Research Analyst of Uno Communications, shared his opinion on the MediaCore SBC and told us how they enhanced their business with our platform.
Challenge
We have been operating on the VoIP market since 2005 and already had an established infrastructure. But the manufacturer of our previous softswitch sold the company, then the new management tried to change the support agreement and the channel license agreement and finally they went bankrupt. We have started to look for a new system before the bankruptcy because our feeling was that things might go wrong.
Solution
We have known the MediaCore for three years. We explored different options, including development of our internal softswitch, but considering every aspect we decided to move forward with Speedflow. They offered us strong switch functions, API, usable web-interface. Thanks to their high-skilled technical team, implementation and launch procedures were very fast and smooth.
Results
After almost one year with the MediaCore SBC we did not have any technical problems, ordinary questions were solved quickly by Support, we have used API to connect the MediaCore SBC interface to our internally developed management system. Our staff were able to learn the various MediaCore features in one month only. We certainly recommend the MediaCore to VoIP operators.
